If she is intelligent and very hard working, and can dedicated about 1-2 years preparing for the test, she has good chances of getting good scores. Its difficult otherwise and if she doesnt want to sit home after doing an MD, you guys will have to move back to India. Prepare for the worse and decide what you want to do. It will be a difficult 2 years, but if she get through, it will be wonderful for both of you! Good luck!

I heard that for foreign medical graduates it is difficult to get residency in major cities like ny,Chicago, Bay Area , seattle and most probably they will get residency match in remote places , is it true? Once the 3 years of residency is over is it in our hands to chose the state where to live and practice as doctor ? Or there are any restrictions for foreign medical graduates ? Please provide your suggestions on this.
