He got his hand fractured four times during film shoots. Once bitten by a snake and dog.... a bullock cart passed over his chest..... once got injured in sword-fighting... like this late N.T. Ramarao garu met with many accidents in his lifetime. Yet he used to be ever ready for the shootings. In 1956 an important incident occured during filming of "Chiranjeevulu". In this movie NTR played the role of a blind man. For this a contact-lense was used and somehow he lost vision completely. For three days he had to remain in his house in complete darkness. Later he told that during those three days, he prayed God to give back his eyes. It's a miracle... God might have heard his prayers, three days later he got back his vision! Undaunted by all these, he resumed shooting for "Chiranjeevulu". That was 'anna' NTR's stamina!!
