No. the water from godavari river at polavaram right canal is lifted and send to prakasham barrage. the total capacity of water lifted is around 80 TMC. So it will create excess 80 tmc water available for AP share from krishna water. this additional water is diverted from pothireddy padu head regulator located at back water region of srisailam project and pumped into telugu ganga project, galeru nagari project, handri neeva sujala sravanthi project. these projects will flow this water to kurnool, anantapur, kadapa and chittoor regions..

mukunda1 Posted August 24, 2015 Report Posted August 24, 2015 Mayya mee sema farmers ki machi days rabothunayi anamaata CBN sankalpam is great man...truely determined person. he came to power and completing all projects in phases. just his dedication that he asked collectors to blacklist contractors who does not complete project by this december 2015. he is so dedicated that contractors already finished chagallu dam, jeedipalli dam. pendekal dam will be completed in this october. hope by 2016 khareef, water will flow in anantapur... @3$%
