Yes. Take the money get it fixed by local mechanic. When you go to locals to get a quote, most of them will ask for insurance claim number. Tell them you want to fix it with your own money. Also check with 2 or 3 people. I got 7k quote from dealer in accident and I get it fixed for 4500 with local shop.
