loveindia Posted August 27, 2015 Report Posted August 27, 2015 Do you have to show 12 am and 11:5pm as part of the report or you have to use that value in bringing data man???
Tech_Babu Posted August 27, 2015 Report Posted August 27, 2015 instead of date time make it TEXT it will work for you =Format(now,"dd/MM/yyyy 12:00:00 tt") this will give the value as todays date plus 12:00:00 PM if you sending the param to an SP sp should be fine if you pass this to datetime filed i think..try it

Yes for the start date parameter i need to default it to current date with 12:00:00 AM timestamp and End date with 11:59:59 PM... Users can edit the time stamp and run the report...based on these query should get the records.

Users can edit the time stamp and run the report...based on these query should get the records.if the user is able to edit it , it should go out as a text field. And you have to make sure ur query converts that to a date time because if you are using less than 2014 your execution plan will have cardinality mismatch and will slow down ... you need to concatenate today's date and 11:59pm in the default section of the parameter.. that's the easiest way man..
