Buying Sex Should Not Be Legal.

I cringe when I hear the words “sex work.” Selling my body wasn’t a livelihood.

I know there are some advocates who argue that women in prostitution sell sex as consenting adults. But those who do are a relatively privileged minority — primarily white, middle-class, Western women in escort agencies — not remotely representative of the global majority.

Implementing this policy will simply calcify into law men’s entitlement to buy sex, while decriminalizing pimping will protect no one but the pimps.

Banning porn is also a good idea. Its sad that many educated idiots came out openly against the Indian govt. when it tried to do it earlier in the year.

The counter argument for this is - making sex a premium commodity, we encourage more people to get married and stay married.

Probably have kids because they hate each other after the initial euphoria of marriage. contributing to global warming.

In the article I linked to, and in several studies, it is clear that decriminalising prostitution won't increase safety for young women working as sex providers.

It only makes the services available for lesser than before.

The biggest problem with making prostitution legal, is how to address the problem of workplace harassment.

The job itself is about coercing someone to have sex.

The feminist haven - Sweden, came up with a law to punish those who buy sex, and let off the girls. And recently Canada too has bought into that bullshit.

Frankly, there seems to be no decent solution to the problem of how to treat prostitution.

The better way to deal with organized prostitution is to keep it restricted to certain areas.

let councils pass resolution whether they wish to allow prostitution in their areas.

And for national governments to stop legislating on prostitution.

A more creative way to curb prostitution is to force all such brothels video record every moment, so police can randomly check for criminality behind individual acts of fornication.

hehe..

Or force all brothels to operate in glass houses, where outsiders can actually watch what's going on inside. :)
