HYDERABAD: The Special Status for Andhra Pradesh found the unlikeliest of votary: K Kavitha, Nizamabad MP and daughter of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

 

“It is really regrettable to hear about suicides in AP for special status. Please don’t commit suicide. We are ready to support the case of AP people. AP CM Chandrababu Naidu should confront Prime Minister Narendra Modi on this issue,” a concerned Kavitha told newsmen in Delhi on Sunday, after calling on President Pranab Mukherjee.  :police:  :police:  :police:

  Naidu called on Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley requesting release of more funds for the new State.
