Being Part of EU does not mean all EU countries have same rules. UK is part of EU but has seperate currency and more other too. Schengen visa is a easy travel between many EU countries....... When we travel via DUBLIN or any other Airport, its just a Transfer airport for us hence no VISA is required in DUBLIN...but for UK its a different rule. I was on H1b without a visa stamp on my passport while travelling via Dublin...this was 2 years back. Hope i answered your question...cheers. Nice info man. Thank you

Vellu India vellanivvaru :( some countries have interest in tourist inflow , some countries are fed up with illegal immigrants . these are just their choices. I am sure India also has such strict rules for 3rd world countries of Africa,Eurasia etc...
