lol. it sucks more in the US.

but if you refer to IT employees as common people, then US is better.

I think UK is growing much faster than the US. for the same reasons that Canada's economy is shrinking.

I lived in US and Canada and believe me.. US is far better than Canada.

Last year gas was $6 a gallon (when it was $3 a gallon in US)..income tax is 41%..sales tax is around 13% to18% (0% to 8% in US) Auto Insurance is $600 a month ..with 9 months wind and temperatures dipping to -40 's .

There are over 100 cities in US to find a IT job..where as there are not more than 3 cities in Canada for IT jobs !

didn't I already say, Canada is heaven for common people. But you don't count as 'common' people.

not unless you are making less than $50k per year and don't live in Toronto/Vancouver.

my income tax avgs around 30%, but most of it is from dividends.

Canada is awesome if you are rich or poor. Plus healthcare is free, except prescription drugs.

Did you live in Montreal? It is one of the cheapest cities in North America, for the infrastructure it provides. But you need French.
