Canadian Economy Enters Recession -Source Bbc

Not in the same range as it was back in 2008. Every 8 years ki economy matramu down avutundi, Y2K bust in 2000, Lehman Bros and the financial collapse in 2008, we are due for one in 2016. But it won't be the same as it was back in 2008.

On the other hand, truth be said IT is a dying industry. More and more H4 EADs are going to flood the market, and more and more F1 EAD students will come into the work place too soon. Above all this, outsourcing of employees from India by companies like TCS, Infy etc where they pay their employees $20/hr and charge the client $100/hr is only going to increase. It's a death knell for IT industry esp. those who are on visas like H1B etc and contracting.

Best to change your career, I am thinking of doing that myself but not sure which direction to go.

didn't I already say, Canada is heaven for common people. But you don't count as 'common' people.

not unless you are making less than $50k per year and don't live in Toronto/Vancouver.

my income tax avgs around 30%, but most of it is from dividends.

Canada is awesome if you are rich or poor. Plus healthcare is free, except prescription drugs.

Did you live in Montreal? It is one of the cheapest cities in North America, for the infrastructure it provides. But you need French.

Montreal cheap Endhi saami.. Nenu vella stamping ki akkadike friend room lo Unna one week.. infrastructure emundhi bongu Akkada Detroit city laaga old aipoina buildings and roads

Common people in the sense .. min wage earners ?

Health is free ,but horrible ..not in terms of quality but service..once my doctor wanted to refer me to a specialist for a backpain..and my nearest appointment date was after 3 months..and after 3 months when I visited him..he prescribed MRI and the appointment for MRI had around 89 days waiting time for my turn ..Instead I visited US and got checked up in the following week ..

Health care may be free ..but it will offset the auto insurance rates compared to US..If $100 a month is my auto insurance it is $600 in Canada and health insurance will be average of $500 for a family of 4 in US,Which is $0 in Canada

A 2,500 Sft town home in a decent Toronto Metro area(GTA) is not less than $600K ,where as you can get is for $300K in almost any metro area in USA

Do you need more ?

May be for some people who have never lived in US,Canada is a paradise !
