Indaka call chesi passport details update chesa.. expedia vadu adagale. but to update prior to travel mandatory anta.. luckily chesa on time..

 

question enti ante as i bought his ticket from US credt card. he obviously wont have card.

 

so while on call with Customer care she said for safer side send images of credit card front n back barring the sec code write a letter saying I authorize this transaction ani raayamanadi.. sign with hand ani chepindi.. and show this print out while boarding ani cheopindi 

 

is this really necessary.. for safer side anindi kabatti adigithene imani cheptha... but aa format emaina dorukuthada

• This photocopy should also contain the name of the passenger, the date of journey and the sector on which the journey is made.

The above document MUST be produced at the time of check-in. If the passenger fails to comply with these conditions, Air India reserves the right to deny boarding to the passenger(s). The details mentioned above do not apply for net banking.

Can I make a reservation online with my credit card if I am not traveling myself?

 

 

This will depend on the country of departure. In some countries, for security reasons, the holder of the credit card used to book a ticket or group of tickets must be one of the travelers on the itinerary or have the same family name. In some cases, you may be required to present the credit card used to pay for the tickets at the airport check-in counter prior to receiving your boarding pass.

On the Enter billing information page where credit card details are entered, if the "Cardholder family name" can be typed in, you will be able to pay for the reservation even if you are not traveling and do not have the same family name as one of the travelers. If the "Cardholder family name" appears in a drop-down menu and cannot be changed from those of the travelers, you will not be able to pay for the booking unless you are traveling or have the same family name as one of the passengers on the itinerary.

As an alternative, you could select a different payment option where available, such as bank transfer or PayPal or simply book online and make the payment at a local Emirates office. The options available will depend on the country of departure and how much time remains before your flight.

Please note that the fare quoted is valid only for payment in the country of departure. Due to ticketing regulations, a different fare may apply if you wish to pay for the tickets at an Emirates office in another country; in some cases, you may not be able to pay outside the country specified at the time of booking. The reservation will be cancelled after three days if tickets have not been collected and paid for. Please contact your local Emirates office to confirm.

Emirates Skywards members may make a redemption booking for friends and family and pay for the applicable taxes online with their own credit cards.
