HYDERABAD: A class 10 student of St Joseph's school in Hyderabad died of brain injury after he and his classmate exchanged blows in the school premises. While the incident took place during lunch break yesterday, the boy identified as Muhammed Amir Siqqiq, died today while undergoing treatment.
Police said that Amir Siddiq had an argument with his classmate Cyril after which both exchanged blows. Siddiq was hit on his head due to which he suffered internal wounds. As he collapsed in the school yesterday, the school authorities rushed him to a private hospital where doctors performed a surgery. He however could not recover and died early this morning. Siddiq was a resident of Masab Tank in the city.
