CBN’s Government clears 1206 industries under Single-Desk System In a major boost to industrial sector in Andhra Pradesh, CBN’s Government cleared a record 1206 industries with a combined investment of Rs. 9500 crore through the Single Desk system. 72 large and mega projects and 44 medium projects have received the necessary approvals through the Single Desk system so far. CBN had earlier introduced Single Desk system for approvals to establish new industries and projects at a single point of contact wherein the investors are given all the clearances online within a prescribed time period. Under this new system the government departments are mandated to receive applications for approvals through the Single Desk portal.
