mettastar Posted September 8, 2015 Report Posted September 8, 2015 Evarki rakapoina neku matram GC twaraga ravali ani mein bhagwan ko pray kartha hai enduku bro ? Greg Siskind IV's work on pushing for Visa Bulletin reform is commendable. But I would caution not to see the coming changes as an end in and of themselves. Yes, they will allow people to get many of the benefits of permanent residency - work cards, portability, ease of travel. But green cards will arrive no sooner. And that still is going to present challenges. For example, many states won't offer in state tuition based on a pending adjustment application. You can't become a citizen until you've been a green card holder for five years so if you're hoping to sponsor parents to join you in the US, that still means years of waiting. The ultimate solution is to find a way to get more green cards in to the mix whether by legislation (which is up to Congress) or via administrative fixes. But obviously this news is very good. I also hope that we can see some sort of detente when it comes to immigration lawyers and IV. Most immigration lawyers I know go in to this field because of a genuine desire to help our clients. I'm quite sure I would have changed professions were it not for my getting real satisfaction assisting people achieve their dreams in the US. And there are many immigration lawyers that have been quietly playing important roles in pushing changes that will help. For example, there are potentially going to be a number of important and extremely positive changes on physician immigration rules and the negotiating on that is almost entirely coming from immigration lawyers who represent doctors. One of the AILA member also confirmed the news.... fingers crossed
mettastar Posted September 8, 2015 Report Posted September 8, 2015 Immigration Voice Thanks for your support. There are many fixes that make the package. The VB fixes will be implemented start new fiscal year starting 1st Oct. Then there will be fixes done through memos like fix for 'same or similar'. We expect memos and VB fixes will be announced in next 2 weeks. The regulatory fixes will need to go through the regulatory process.Overall you will start seeing fixes starting to get announced very soon, within next 2 weeks. E month lo telusthundi anta
