Even before everyone could forget his shocking comments about the Indian Army, the controversial TDP MP from Amalapuram, Pandula Ravindra Babu, has once again made headlines, this time with his scathing comments on the Indian festivals and cultures and even the pride of India, ISRO.

During the inauguration ceremony of the science fair at the AMG School in Kakinada, the MP said that it is unfortunate that Indians celebrate festivals like Vinayaka Chavithi and Diwali, which increase environmental pollution. The MP also called for a control on the budget in celebrating these festivals as the state is facing severe financial crunch.

Not stopping here, Ravindra Babu then targeted the country's pioneer organization in space research, ISRO, and said that it's ridiculous that scientists pray for the satellite miniatures in front of the god at Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam. "Is god that important or the rocket launch?," questioned the MP. Will the TDP Chief rap the MP for his comments again?
