Prabhas Is The New Threat To All Top Heroes?

Baahubali has not only changed the box-office potential of Telugu film industry but it also has affected the equations among the stars.  

With Baahubali, Prabhas has challenged the position of the many of the top stars who have been enjoying almost numero uno status for years.

Already, with Mirchi, Prabhas has been a top contender for the top slot for the past few years. 

Now, with Baahubali, he has reached a range that is almost impossible for other Telugu stars to reach in a hurry. No matter what number one gives to him, Prabhas has surely among the top 3 stars in the industry.

Now when equations change, it is bound to set off a few triggers. And this was visible from the recent clashes between fans of various heores.

While some people don't attribute the success of Baahubali to Prabhas and maintain that it is Rajamouli's success story, Prabhas' fans think otherwise.

Also, the national media mentioning Prabhas as the top star in Telugu has irritated the fans of other stars in Telugu speaking states.

 

 

If Baahubali 2 becomes a bigger hit, then there is bound to be rivalry on the lines of Chiranjeevi-Balakrishna in the past, say industry analysts.
