AverageDesiGuy Posted September 8, 2015 Report Posted September 8, 2015 What's the point in going for upstairs then? it happens in the moment , but then they will get some time to think about it with team mates. Like mccullum said "Don't get me wrong: winning is important. But the longer you play this game the more you realise that some things are too valuable to spoil."
Silver_mani Posted September 8, 2015 Report Posted September 8, 2015 Aus shouldnt have appealed for it ....
JasonBourne13 Posted September 8, 2015 Report Posted September 8, 2015 Starc threw it at near "his bowling" speed and there is no way he would expect it to catch with his glove! Slo mo lo chuste every action silly ga ne anpistai! There is no way Stokes would have guessed that he could catch it. It just happened that it hit his glove. And Stokes was looking at the other side in that instant!
Yuva Nataratna Posted September 8, 2015 Report Posted September 8, 2015 He was OUT, reason is that a batsman that tries to get back to the crease never gets his hand out and it was also not the case of the batsman trying to protect himself because there was some fair distance between the ball and his body.....

JasonBourne13 Posted September 8, 2015 Report Posted September 8, 2015 I think umpires considered the distance between the ball and the batsmen in the two cases, not the speed of the throw.... Instincts kick in ai, koncham deviate aina chei alage unchadu. It happens with anyone especially when the ball is clearly on his head level and no where near the stumps!
