Woman Attempts Suicide In-Front Of Harish Rao

Even before Telangana could forget the tragic suicide of debt-ridden famer Limbaiah in Hyderabad yesterday, yet another shocking attempt of suicide was made by a woman named Varalakshmi attempted suicide in the TRS meeting headed by senior Telangana minister T Harish Rao at the Bellampalli Market Yard in Adilabad district this evening.

Varalakshmi took the extreme step by consuming the Super Vasmol 33, a poisonous chemical used as a hair dyeing substance, while Harish Rao was addressing the gathering. She was immediately shifted to a local hospital by TRS cadres and the police personnel present in the meeting. As per the latest updates, Varalakshmi's condition is said to be stable.  

Speaking to the media after she gained her consciousness at the hospital, Varalakshmi said that she decided to end her life after the Tandoor ZPTC of grabbed her land. Varalakshmi also revealed that she had complained to the local police about the land encroachment,

 

but the police failed to act, pushing her into a desperate situation. Harish Rao, who is already under intense attack from the Congress and TDP leaders over Limbaiah's suicide, reportedly promised Varalakshmi of immediate justice.
