you are running you payroll by your self....i.e you are going to open a compy and register it, get tax id for it...than you can run your payroll...it means aa new compy lo nv mngr, nv empy, nv CEo anni...

 

JObs vethukoni...nee new compy nunchu ne weekly time sheet invoice lo...aa vendor ki pampali...appudu vaadu nee compy peeru meeda money realease chaesthadu..

 

you have to pay tax for that compy( doint tax for a firm is not that easy, you need a CPA) and you have generate W2 from that compy to your self....and you have to pay tax on your W2...

 

this is all possible only when you have GC..... I have couple of friends who do that...

when you apply for new position, you can negotiate for billing rate. There is no percentage. Let's say if both parties agreed for $100/hr, then your before tax is $100/hr. But if you are working on hourly rate most companies won't cover health insurance.

If you are working on 1099 then you have to pay payroll tax as well apart from income tax. But there are other ways reduce income tax.

1099 you can directly file as income but our folks establish a company for tax perks like commute, other expenses etc

Neeku company unte, you can run your payroll on w2, there are payroll companies like ADP who help you do it, there are payroll taxes associated too. iMO unless you fall under high taX bracket it is not worth it, some people instead of opening a company use other consultancy firms to run their payroll for 1-2% commision
