siru Posted September 15, 2015 Report Posted September 15, 2015 In August 2010, USCIS has implemented Public Law 111-230 which requires H-1B dependent employers to pay an additional fee of $2,000.1 This fee is only applicable to the employers who has 50 or more employees and has more than 50% of h-1b visa employees. Here is the Good News ! This law is expiring on September 30, 2015. So, from October 1st 2015, the H-1B visa dependents will not be paying the additional fee of $2,000.
