help me What Is I-797 For H4 Visa?

Bros,

 

My wife came from India with H4 visa stamping.

She applied H4 visa with my H1 I-797, I-129 and other documents.

 

I am trying to apply H4 EAD for her now.

There is H4 Visa's latest I-797 in the documents list to send.

 

What is I-797 approval form for H4 visa? I don't have that for my wife's case.

 

Please suggest me.

if she came from India no I-797 . H4 I-797A come only if you do h1 extension with H4.

Did you apply for H1 extension after your wife came to US or are you still on that old 797 which your wife used when she went to stamping.

 

If you applied for extension, just like you got 797, your wife should get I-539.

 

If you are still on that 797, then you will not have I-539.

Did you apply for H1 extension after your wife came to US or are you still on that old 797 which your wife used when she went to stamping.

 

If you applied for extension, just like you got 797, your wife should get I-539.

 

If you are still on that 797, then you will not have I-539.
