Stealing Case In Us Office

Nenu oka client place lo 2011 nunchi 2013 varaku work chesa. Naa pakka cube lo oka IBM fte employee(She reports at my client place, takes care of my client IBM servers) pani chestundi. Naaku oka 3 months nundi manchi friend. we work on 3rd floor. That particular day in 2012 March I met her in her cube talking about the availability of the conference room. She said I cannot give the room as I have already booked for 3 months. Then I closed my mouth and everything and went to second floor to meet my lead and talk about the project work. After 1.5 hrs of meeting her, she came to 2nd floor accompanying the security guard and claiming that I stole some folder from her cube when I met her in the morning. She made a very big hungama. Everyone was watching me. I told her that i did not take anything from her cube. She was yelling at me saying i am a thief. She left the place and after an hour told that she found the folder in her place itself. I explained my manager the whole episode. He sent an email to her IBM manager explaining the issue. I was so frustrated. One of my Managers told me to file a suit against IBM and her. i never did because I do not know the procedure. I left the client in 2013 November. I frequently work for the client then on like 3 months, 4 months. Last time i worked to the client in 2015 is for 5 months, some people in the client place started recalling the incident and making fun of me. 

 

I am no more with the client and I went to the client security last week and asked for the complaint letter I filed in 2012 against her. I got the print out.

 

The help I need from you guys is, can i file a law suit against her/IBM now? Where to find a lawyer. What is the procedure?

Do you think  all of this warrants her to lose her job possibly livelyhood?

 

always think of the other end and only file such cases if there was gross injustice meted out to you by a higher authority in this case  The client or IBM

 

You could have simply asked to issue to issue a public apology.

 

If you think your reputation of being a good human/person/worker was tarnished by those allegations , you can simply threaten her with a defamation lawsuit and coerce her to issue an apology

but that in itslef is like peaks.
