Reality In India - 250+ Doctorates Apply For Peon Post

Lucknow: This is a sad and shocking proof of the sad state of affairs in government recruitment and employment. But about 255 PhD scholars applied for peon jobs in Uttar Pradesh secretariat. The number of applicants for 368 posts stood at a staggering 23 lacs and a majority of them are either graduates or post graduates while the eligibility criterion is a class 5 education and skill to ride a bicycle.

In addition to the 255 PhD scholars, about 1.5 lakh graduates and 24,969 post graduates and 11.21 lac applicants with X standard qualification applied for the peon post.

What's baffling is UP government secretariat officials decision to call for a written test for the post. One wonders if this is what the state government promised youth when it made tall poll promises of employment to youth

since you don't know ground reailty i will not argue further.. media edo chuyinchindi kada ani danney nijam ankuntey.. it is really a sad state of country
