Vijayawada , Sept 19: The cash Strapped Andhra Pradesh is in deep financial crisis.

 

In this conection the finance dept had issued orders to all the treasuries in the state not to make payments to bills dated after sept 8.

 

The government is finding it difficult to even meet expenses related to staff salaries and most important bills.

 

With hardly any revenue coming in, the state government had recently increased the land registration fees. Even that is not sufficient to meet the basic expenses, sources said.

 

Until alternative orders are issued, the government had asked the treasuries to keep bills submitted after September 8, in pending status.
