Telugu 2nd language ga teeseyale, Tamil ni compulsory chesaaru. already deeni meedha 10 post lu vesa. kamal haasan oka daridrudu. He is the wrong person to ask such things. He is very eager to lick dravidian asses even before they ask. enduku Tamil ni compulsory chesaaro, ee problem ela solve cheyyocho nenu naa opinions already cheppa. But it is a black mark for TN, the govt did a very bad job of explaining why they had to take this step.

The problem is not just for Telugus, but for all language minorities. I think the govt will back down and implement their idea at a later date. But it is unacceptable how late people react to potential issues. Same with RTE, which will destroy Hindu schools. and has already.

lazybugger Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 For all of you who think TN is tamil pichhi, go to Chennai. Hardly any schools there teach tamil now. Because majority of kids chose a simpler language as 2nd language so they can get more marks. Chennai, for this reason, has a better english speaking population than Tamil. govt is trying to correct this, by making Tamil compulsory until 10th, but this cannot be implemented in a hurry. It'll take atleast one decade. As for telugu schools in TN, they can freely teach telugu until 8th. Its not such a big deal. Do you think they are fighting to teach telugu in schools? Dont make me laugh. The people who are fighting this G.O. have made dishonest arguments, until now. Hopefully saner people take up this important fight.
