Following public outrage that grew on the new draft proposal for storing messages for 90 days that are being sent through WhatsApp, SMS, Email or any such service and asking to submit the details on demand to security agencies, the Central government has issued a clarification on this and exempted Whatsapp, Facebook,Twitter anything which are currently being used in web applications, social media sites, and social media applications.
