dasara_bullodu Posted September 22, 2015 Report Posted September 22, 2015 English is not our primary language is not an excuse. Indians may suck writing in English when describing their sorroundings, but its not a handicap to describe indian thought. Several german authors have written in english too. Not giving a shyte about history is not something to be proud of. Isn't it how brahmins have overtaken Hinduism, and made smaller gods almost invisible now? Dude seriously ? Mana vallu raase english lo fluency poetry untaya ala aithe ee patiki super talented ayi unde vallam ... Germans have same descent with English - saxons

I'm not that important. I made a statement, you misunderstood. No need to blame me for it. you can stop this back and forth if its tedious for you.

lazybugger Posted September 22, 2015 Report Posted September 22, 2015 India is trying to integrate with the world, scriptures antava who are really following that in India haha ... now that doesn't mean endorsing Yoga, doing some pooja based on calendar events etc are bad... every country follows religion just that they were colonized to much/don't have enough resources to be strong. an individual doing pooja is different from head of a state doing it. India is trying to integrate into the world, but it hasn't found a place in it. Nor will it ever, unless it grows some balls.

Germans have same descent with English - saxons Indians write very good english. But are ashamed to question their history, and philosophy. seriously, Prof. Balagangadhara is the only guy who comes close to doing something unique with Indian thought. analysing it with scientific care. see, this is like being an art critic. You may think its flimsy. But an art critic has the capacity to notice what others can't(sometimes even the artist can't), and bring it to attention of laymen. It is very important for Hindus to have several serious thinkers about Hindu philosophy to grow culturally. That we don't have them, is why I called Hindus dumb.

Balls in scientific research are simply not enough to handle ###### around our country, there comes a moment to prove ourselves and those opportunities should be handled well. At least we don't have congress who looted country of resources. More than that our country can never clean its hands off poverty and religious problems.

HIndus don't need to prove anything to anyone. They just have to be better today than they were a decade ago. Christians developed wonderful philosophy from the 17th century, started off with morality as a religious duty, and have progressed to Nihilism. Indians have already completed that cycle, but have lost all of it to the fundamentalist Hindus. Time to revive it. Otherwise, Hindus may become extremely rich and connected, but will end up like Saudi Arabians or at best Japanese. Rich, but with no culture.
