Medical Examination For I-485 Filing Under New Rule?

Did your attorney asked you to submit medical examination report for I-485 filing if you are filing under the new rule that has come recently?  My attorney said its not required now. Please share your info. Thank you.

i know its requirement, but my attorney said so, that's y i wanna confirm what other attorneys are saying. My attorney's explanation is it is valid only for 1 year.

yes, it's valid for only 1 year and if you are confident that u will get ur visa number within 1 year, you can go ahead and do it..otherwise not needed now..

You will get a letter from USCIS to do the list of necessary medical test. Take that letter to the doctor, then the doctor will conduct the tests and send one copy to USCIS and one for you.

Medicals are must for filing 485 application. You are simply taking a chance with uscis by not submitting the docs. just go for the medicals
