It is not that simple man, it is never too easy for them to recover from a bad season man and if it is like 2 or 3rd in a row it is wacky. They need to get to the root of the problem - mostly irrigation, storage, minimum gaurantee price and eliminating middle men. Already the govt has done its part by taking a burden of 17kk crore prior loans and 500 crore input supisdy like on seeds and fertilizers. The disparities are so much that the farmer is not feeling confident he would ever be able to earn so much by farming and repay the loans they have taken by him.

When KCR talked about eliminating this menace by providing legal alternative to the cheap liqour everyone objected now look at the turn of the events, people are dieing becuase they so got used to illicit adulterated liqour and can't find them now

Have you tried to look up pogaku/tobaco farmer sucides in prakasham this year, all I want to say is the same problem lies every where , there should be collective thought at this point

Google chesi choodu man last decade lo Gujarat lo unna farmer sucicides ee state levu..this year alone another BJP state Maharashtra had 50% of all India farmer deaths. Again I am reiterating since most of our country is agararian and depend on rains for cultivation than major irrigation. River interlinkage is one such step in the right direction.

Step in the right direction is we are building power projects worth 95k crore , why? Becuase you need 2x power of current availability to the pump water to the upstream ( most terrain is upstream in telangana - deccab plateau)
