Almost all of their bills got blocked in Rajya Sabha..land bill, GST etc.. and no matter whatever they propose is going to get blocked in RS because they don't have absolute majority nor alliances.

 

winning Bihar will give them confidence and bring close to magic number in RS..then they are also required  to win some seats in UP and WB.

 

I am myself more interested in uniform civil code/court.

1998 BJP era,  they also believed in extreme liberalism and by then the momentum was already built by the previous congress govt.

 

What I am tryng to say is both and good happened in relative terms. It is relative to the times. For example, it is good we had nationised banks, had we not we would have been in a soup in 2008 financial market melt down. With neo-liberal capitalism shaken to the core under the suicidal over-financialisation, Nehru and his ideas deserve a fresh appraisal.
