vikuba Posted September 25, 2015 Report Posted September 25, 2015 EB Visa Numbers Depleted for Fiscal Year 2015 September 24, 2015 The USCIS announced that, as of September 24, 2015, they must briefly suspend final action on pending employment-based (EB) form I-485 applications. The reason for this development is that the EB visa numbers for Fiscal Year 2015 (FY15) have been depleted. This is a very temporary matter, as FY15 ends on September 30, 2015 The lack of visa numbers does not affect the ability to file I-485 cases during the remainder of September 2015. It is simply the normal result of reaching the end of the fiscal year and utilizing the annual allocation of visa numbers for FY15 shortly prior to the start of FY16 on October 1, 2015.
