He was thankful to US fans and filmgoers as they have always been loyal towards his films. Even Mahesh Babu’s flop films like 1 Nenokkadine and Aagadu have done over 1.3 Million Dollars business in US. So Mahesh felt that this is the right time to thank them as Srimanthudu collected nearly 3 Million dollars at US Box Office. When fans are eagerly waiting to meet their matinee idol and here comes the bad news for them! As per reliable sources, Mahesh’s trip to US has been called off as it is estimated to be too expensive. As per the estimates this trip would cost around $600K! This is too big an amount for a Thank You meet and therefore Mahesh is not going to visit US now. Mahesh’s latest film Brahmotsavam shoot is currently going on in Hyderabad. He will plan a promotional tour to US for Brahmotsavam, said sources. Mahesh is also co producing this film and would be looking to better his record in US with this family entertainer. It is in fact practical to spend so much money on promoting a new film rather than spending it on a film that has completed its theatrical run.
