MD is not a big hit in tamil nadu.. i studied in chennai and have lot of freinds there.. tamil lo last biggest hit from telugu before Bahubali is "Arundathi".. Mega ki vunnatha PRO vere heroes ki evvaru leru.. So mahesh cinema collections ragane fake fake anatam start chestharu.. MD was 63crs including all laungauges.. danni evari year inflate chesthune vunnaru.. idhi meeru oppukunna oppukokuna nijam Dhookudu .. business man collections emo kani.. srimanthadu beat AD that is genuine record.. total collections.. not sure... Even SSR gaadu cheppadu, they delayed to relase tamil version, by the time they released, aa oopu and hype ledu janaloo is thye relesed in peorper time, collections eekluva vachevi ani MD was not even hit inTami ,mana Pirate Super hit ante inka cheyygaligindi eami ledu

MD was not even hit inTami ,mana Pirate Super hit ante inka cheyygaligindi eami ledu Ram Charan and Kajal Agarwal starrer Maaveeran, dubbed version of Tollywood all time Blockbuster movie Magadheera is doing huge business in Tamil Nadu. Maaveeran opened with poor response on day one and picked up with rocket speed. Maaveeran got Housefulls in Tamilnadu and the positive mouth talk is helping it. Geetha Arts later released in more centers with nine more prints in Tamilnadu. As per the trade sources, the film has collected around Rs 8 Crores, where as the dubbing cost of the movie is around Rs1.5 crores. The producers, Geetha Arts who released the film in collaboration with Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies are very happy with the results.
