I got mine 4  extracted 3 weeks back.. it took 4 days for pain to be gone.. kani nenu IV (not local anatheisa/laughing gas) tho extraction cheyunkunna.. also got some nice pain killers (oxycotin).. so i used before the IV lost its effect.. so every 6 hours i took one pill.. 

 

Also used cold pack (buy at CVS) wrapped in cloth on the cheeks... put cold pack 20 minutes.. do this every two hours or so

 

also use anibiotic mouth wash.. reduce the affect of "Dry socket"... dry socket is very painful.. i didnt get it..

seriouly.. buy one.. its not waste u can use for long time for any pain.. use it for 20 min and alternate..
