Took other guys rental car and met with accident. ANYONE WITH SIMILAR SITUATION?

me: i am in shock.

 

rental guy: whose mistake?

me: i thought of shifting to right lane and went litttle in to the lane. right lane lo andaru suddenly braked  so i came back to my lane. and then back guy bumped in to me

 

rental guy: did u filed report?

me: nakem cheyalo telidu , i was in shock.

 

rental guy: vachaka matladukundham

 

Now how to go talk when we go and return the car. paina adigina questions ki inkastha better answers and police complaint cheyandi ipudu ante , cheyakunda ela undali ( how to argue that we cant file complaint )
