athletics Posted September 29, 2015 Report Posted September 29, 2015 blocked all images on this site Hyderabad: Three friends in Banjara Hills killed in car accident An engineering graduate, who was allegedly driving his Honda City when drunk, lost control of the vehicle. He died along with two friends who were in the car. The third friend is in hospital. A report in Deccan Chronicle states that the car first hit a divider and then rammed into a shop shutter. M Sai Teja, 23, was gifted the Honda City last year for his birthday by his parents. The report states that he along with his two friends who were in the car - P Sharath Kumar Goud and T Naren Sai – died in the accident. K Karthik Reddy was injured in the accident and has been admitted to the hospital. He is said to be critical and on ventilator. Police state that an alcohol bottle was found in the car. The three friends had apparently gone to Saroornagar Lake to immerse their Ganesha and then came to the pooja spots in the Banjara Hills area. According to the report, Teja apparently didn’t notice a steep curve on the road and hit the divider. Though the airbags opened up in the Honda city, it wasn’t enough to save the young men.
