LadiesTailor Posted September 29, 2015 Report Posted September 29, 2015 alright guys..... if your I-94 expires but still hold a valid visa on your passport, reach out to one of the CBP office... they will correct it right away.... here is one of the email ID... send an email to the officer and explain your situation..... Attach these... 1. copies of Passport First and Last page 2. Copy of Your VISA stamped Page 3. recent I-94 copy email : [email protected] 90% they will fix it otherwise go to near by port of entry (Airport) and get it fixed. Good luck.

TeluguAbbayi Posted September 29, 2015 Author Report Posted September 29, 2015 1.) if you didn't travel to any country after your arrival in any visa status, H1 or F1 don't worry about I94 expiration, you are good till your VISA expires 2.) if you didn't travel to any country but still you changed your status, like F1 to H1 don't worry about I94 expiration, you are good till you current VISA expires 3.) if you did travel in any visa status or had your new visa stamping done than there is issue to deal with I94, so check your expiry and deal with your case, contact attorney immediately if you need any help but don't neglect this issue.

Sometimes you will get I94 with date less than Visa stamped date, you are allowed to stay only till I94 date not Visa date although visa has later expiry date (this can happen in scenarios like your PP getting expired prior visa expiry date or some thufel pee O yee Officer) Extension: If ext approved, you will get new 797 with I94. You are legal to stay till I94 date. Now, your old or online I94 is not considered and you will not get New Online I94. so, keep this hardcopy safe and secure. Some cases you will get extension but no I94 or no extended stay on I94, you have to go out of country before that and re enter. if Pee O yee apicer kind enough you might get a new I94 with extended date or else Bisket. So, better to go for stamping and return. Some times you can get an extended I94 from DIS, but it is very very rare... present trend is they are not extending the stay. Incase na lanti situation lo...since passport renew cheyyadam valla i94 expire ayyindhi...though had valid visa date. county bayataki velli...mexico or some place enter avvali to get new i94 updated. full details telisaka...have to plan :(

Okavela mareee mundu like 9 months ala munde( from h1 date) pp expire ayithe appudu visa extension kaledanuko appudu sure ga country dhati ravali with existing old valid visa and new pp. If pp expiry date and i797 expiry date just 1 month gap unte anyhow we get new i797 before expuring online i94 date, so no need to go out n come back.
