if you are on extension your I797 will have a I94. that date applies to you.

 

It will not appear Online.

if your ext approved you will get I797 and it will have I94.

here the question is between 797 and i94... what to do when your i94 expires but you have a valid visa... will a valid 797 replaces i94 expiration date?

visa next year varaku vundhi...but passport renewal cheyyincha last yr...

 

since passport last yr expire avvadam tho i94 kuda expire ayinattundhi...

I think in these both cases, h1 extension approval should supersede i94 date.. and we should be fine. 

but I guess it would be different ppl with GCs - 485s...

i797 doc lo kinda i-94 untadi  but online lo update ayye i-94 only POE lone kada update chesedi, and POE lo online lo ese i-94 and i797 pina unde i94 match undavu kada next time travel chesinappudu, everytime they give new number, so next time india velli return vachetappudu malli online lo update chestada? or previous di expire ayi undi enduku online lo update cheyinchalev antada poe lo
