ravula Posted October 2, 2015 Report Posted October 2, 2015 Megastar Chiranjeevi is reportedly set to star in the Telugu remake of Tamil blockbuster 'Kaththi' that starred Kollywood superstar Vijay. IfChiranjeevi does star in the film, then it will be his highly anticipated 150th film in his glorious career. “Chiranjeevi has given his in-principle nod but is yet to sign the project. He’s waiting for some changes to be made to the script to suit the Telugu sensibilities,” a source close to the actor told IANS. Ghajini-fame director AR Murugadoss, who wrote and directed Kaththi in Tamil, has been reportedly asked to make suitable changes to the script. The remake is reported to be directed by VV Vinayak and produced by Madhu and co-produced by Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan. According to reports, the remake was initially planned to have NTR or Pawan Kalyan, but both of them did not show any interest. Chiranjeevi recently celebrated his 60th birthday bash which was attended by most of all Tollywood and Kollywood stars like Kamal Hassan, Nagarjuna, Mahesh Babu, Venkatesh, Prakash Raj among others.
