Seetings->iCloud->backup (make sure it enabled) Click backup now on the same page Kotta phone restore cheyi using the same apple account used for icloud. Itunes is convoluted process, i wish they kill it and a hopeless product. But once you connect the iphone In itunes goto files->devices->backup
