NTR Asked Full Role, Bunny Did For Free

 

 

Earlier there were rumours that several top notch stars like Mahesh Babu, Raviteja and Jr NTR have rejected to star in a guest role in "Rudhramadevi" movie. That happens to be the role of Gona Ganna Reddy in this magnum opus being directed by Gunasekhar. Finally Allu Arjun himself called up Gunasekhar expressing his interest in the role and took no remuneration to finish his part in the historical film. 

Had if Gunasekhar has carved out a film on Gona Ganna Reddy alone rather taking up the story of "Rudhramadevi", guess who would have played the lead role? "I've narrated Rudhramadevi script to Jr NTR first and asked him to do Gona Ganna Reddy role. He asked me to develop Gona Ganna Reddy role into a full pledged film and make it a hero centric film. I've said it's impossible", reveals Gunasekhar, who haven't worked with Jr NTR despite fact that he laid red carpet for Young Tiger's career with "Balala Ramayanam". 

It is heard that both Guna and Jr NTR have tried to work on a project couple of times, but never they got materialized. Provided the fact that Junior has never tried his hand at mythological and folklore kind of roles after Ramayanam, probably he should have taken this Gona Ganna Reddy cameo in "Rudhramdevi".
