But the film started having poor collections right from day 2 and this has disappointed Ram big time. While hits and flops are part of life, the way Shivam failed to make a mark has seriously impacted his standing in the industry. Incidentally, Ram is said to have had high hopes on the storyline and it is said that he was completely involved in coordination, planning and execution of the film. But it did not work at the box office and that has surely disappointed him. While Ram had hoped that the film will be a hit on the lines of Ready, Shivam has ended up being his biggest disappointment. Also, since the film has been made on his banner, it has incurred losses to their home banner Sravanthi Films. Right now, Ram has a film titled Harikatha which will star Malayalam heroine Keerthi Suresh.
