Cows are raised in the west mostly for Meat, which is Beef - If you stop eating Beef, the number of Cows raised as live stock will go down & there by the Methane Gases too, that's how you can contribute towards not polluting the Earth

 

FYI - Methane Gases are the Cause of 90% of Earth's Pollution & less than 10% is caused by Automotives, & other house hold appliances.
