How should the western world treat muslims?

 

Be liberal with them. Accept their personal laws, and give them complete freedom to practise and propagate their religion - haha... recipe for multiple cultural clashes, and ghettoisation of muslims inside their region.

 

Implement the rule of the land, and let muslims deal with their internal bickerings themselves. - result, muslims feel oppressed and fight back against the govt.
