Thrilled with the thunderous response Bruce Lee has generated at BO: Danayya

 

 

Producer DVV Danayya is elated with the thunderous response that his latest production Bruce Lee under DVV Entertainments LLP, which is running in theatres, has generated at the BO despite the mixed reviews. "It's true that the film garnered mixed response from the critics but in terms of revenue, it has been phenomenal run for us," he shares.

The producer is most pleased about is how the audiences have warmed up to the film. "We make a film for the audiences to watch and when they lap it up like they are doing now, I think that is the best compliment a film can get," enthuses the producer, who is confident that the weekend after Dasara will see a further rise in footfalls. "It's not a surprise. Holidays are the best time to cash in and that's exactly what we did with the release. With Dasara around the corner and the film being a treat for the family audiences, I'm sure the audiences are going to throng to the cinema halls," he says.
Ram Charan's performance along with Megastar Chiranjeevi's brief but effective cameo are the film's biggest assets, he quips. "Yes, Chiranjeevi's presence has received immense appreciation, but Ram Charan's performance is no less. His hard work throughout the film, especially towards the end, can be seen in the film," he says.
Meanwhile, Danayya who recently visited Vijayawada says that the reception to the film overall reflects in the city itself. "People are queuing up to watch the film. Even during the weekdays," he says signing off.
