Though Modi is not an ideal politician, currently he's probably the best in India..Politically, YSR and Modi are very similar in terms of how they command the MLAs, Ministers and manage the high command..It is basically a one man show..But look at the difference in terms of results..YSR looted the state where Modi is developing gujarat wonderfully..That is probably the difference between leader and a politician..

I don't know if he wud be as successful as a PM...PM ante scope is too vast...state politics r nthn compared to central level...ika karunanidhi, mamta banerjee lanti batch undane undhi...vadu PM kavalante BJP ki sole ga majority raavali, which I dnt thnk wud happen...

I would really prefer Modi becoming the CM for 4 or 5 states in the next 20 years..As a CM, he can do a lot more and he can have a lot of things under control..As a PM, he may not be that effective because of systemic problems..The current system of politics and governance has a threshold beyond which, no matter how honest a leader is cannot succeed..I honestly think it is time for Modi to come out of BJP and start his own party..Need not be against the BJP but I think its time for him to don the role of a national leader..
