that depends...if client offers full time...client and prime vendor may agree and cancel the non compete...for good will between client and vendor....

 

but if you want to change from one prime vendor to another for the same client its not possible unless the current prime vendor waives the non-compete.

 

in my case my prime vendor (also employer)  did not release me (even though h1b is denied and i left the country as MTR was in progress)...only when the prime vendor is selling off his business unit to another company he offered me an option to continue or seek release...then i could seek other prime vendor to apply for new  h1b
