first of all in the ancient days you belong to specific varna based on the profession you choose.................

Kamma,Kaapu,Velama,Reddy all came from same division which is intially called kaapu(one who protects).............But all these 4 come under Shudras.............

These are Mahabharata or Ramayana time
But from last 2000 yrs castes are like how we have now the same way only.

Yes kammas kapus reddys Velma's are shudras

I dont know abt kaapus, but kamma.. reddys... kind of mixedup professions. 

kondaru high postion lo Zamindars ga unde vallu and inkondaru agriculture lo or some low position lo unde vallu. Reddys n Kammas, even ruled kingdoms too. andukenemo, ippudu kooda manam state lo power kosam kottuku chastunnaru. 

 

I think it is mostly british who brought-up all other "sudra" castes into some light..but off course for their own benefit.
