Get Money From India To Usa, Tax Implications Any Suggestions?

I am selling my property in india for around 13 lakhs  and want to bring that money to USA. I gave power of attorney to my dad so he can sell, what is the best way to get the money to USA. Are there any tax implications, any body did this before any suggestions?
