ఎన్టీఆర్‌ మలి చిత్రానికి కొరటాల శివ దర్శకత్వం వహిస్తున్నాడనేది తెలిసిన సంగతే. ఎప్పుడో జనవరి తర్వాత మొదలయ్యే ఈ చిత్రానికి మూడు నెలల ముందే ముహూర్తం షాట్‌ తీసేశారు. ఎన్టీఆర్‌ తర్వాతేం చేస్తాడనే దానిపై క్లారిటీ ఇవ్వడానికా అన్నట్టు 'నాన్నకు ప్రేమతో' పూర్తి కావడానికి ముందుగానే ఈ చిత్రానికి కొబ్బరికాయ కొట్టేసారు. కొరటాల శివ డైరెక్షన్‌లో చేయాలని ఎన్టీఆర్‌ ఎప్పుడో ఫిక్సయ్యాడు. కానీ ఎప్పుడు చేయాలనే దానిపై ఒక నిర్ణయానికి రాలేదు. శ్రీమంతుడు చిత్రంతో కొరటాలకి డిమాండ్‌ బాగా పెరగడంతో అతని హ్యాట్రిక్‌ సినిమా తానే చేయాలని ఎన్టీఆర్‌ భావించాడట. అందుకే ఆ చిత్రం రిలీజ్‌ అయిన నాటి నుంచీ కొరటాల శివతో కాంటాక్ట్‌లో వుంటూ నెక్స్‌ట్‌ సినిమా తనతోనే చేయాలంటూ పోరు పెడుతున్నాడట. 

బృందావనంకి రచయితగా చేసినప్పటి నుంచీ కొరటాల శివతో పరిచయం వున్న ఎన్టీఆర్‌ అప్పట్లో అతను ఇచ్చిన మాటని గుర్తు చేస్తూ ఎమోషనల్‌గా బ్లాక్‌మెయిల్‌ చేశాడని, కొరటాల శివకి ఇప్పుడు మరో భారీ చిత్రం చేయాలని లేకున్నా కానీ ఎన్టీఆర్‌ చేస్తున్న ఒత్తిడికి ఊ కొట్టేసాడని గుసగుసలు వినిపిస్తున్నాయి. ఈ గాసిప్స్‌లో నిజమెంత ఉందనేది తెలియదు కానీ ఎన్టీఆర్‌కి మినిమం గ్యారెంటీ సినిమా సెట్‌ అయిందని అతని అభిమానులు ఖుషీగా వున్నారు.
